The GoProfiles Slack App allows you to bring the GoProfiles platform for creating and maintaining employee connections to your Slack App! It allows you to celebrate employee achievements, foster strong bonds within your team, and provide the context needed for effective collaboration and connection as you use Slack. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This article is meant to assist with detailing how to use GoProfiles within the Slack app. Visit our Slack Notifications article<\/a> to learn more about sharing wins through the Slack App. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adding GoProfiles to Slack<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  1. From your GoProfiles dashboard, navigate to Integrations in the left-hand menu.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Here, you and all your team members can view which integrations have been connected.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Admins can click the Connect button of their desired integration.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Then, GoProfiles will request permission to access your organization\u2019s Slack workspace. To continue, click Allow. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Then you should be redirected to Slack. Otherwise, you can navigate to the GoProfiles Slack Page<\/a> and click Open in Slack.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Once Slack is open, you will notice the \u201cGoProfiles\u201d icon located under \u201cApps\u201d in the Channels column. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Giving a Bravo via Slack<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

    1. Navigate to any Slack channel or DM and type the \/bravo<\/strong> or \/givebravo<\/strong> command. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Press enter twice for the Give a Bravo modal to come up.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Then add a recipient, write your message, and choose your bravo type.\n
