Filling out your Profile is the best way for your coworkers to get to know you. Your Profile tells your coworkers what you’re like, what similar interests you might have to them, and important collaborative information.
Please note, some information on your Profile might already be filled out from your HR team. Some data configuration is done by your HR/admin team company wide and will not be able to be edited.
Location
You’ll be able to edit where you’re located and the time will automatically update for the correct time zone. This tells your coworkers what time it is for you, what your availability is, and how to schedule a meeting with you.
Details
The details section will tell your coworkers general information about you- like when you started, your birthday and phone number (if you choose to list on your Profile), your email, and other general information about you. Some of these details are set by your HR team and will not be able to be edited.
Bio
Your bio is your chance to tell others about yourself! Your admin team will set specific questions for you to fill out and you’ll be asked to write an introduction about yourself
Skills and Interests
Here is where you can add all your skills and interests (like you would on LinkedIn). This will tell others what your strong suits are and what professional interests you have. This is great to foster professional collaboration!
Languages
Add any languages you know to your Profile so others in your company could learn this fun fact about you! And in case business needs ever call for it, someone could perform a search in GoProfiles to find who speaks a specific language for a task and it will list all users who have that language listed on their Profile!
Groups
Groups give you the ability to join in on a particular hobby/interest with others in your company. Groups could be professional or personal, centered around any interest/hobby that you enjoy. All groups you’re in will be listed on your Profile so others can see what interests they share with you.
Bravo’s and Achievements
All Bravos and Achievements given to you will populate on your Profile. This is a great way for coworkers to see what you’ve accomplished and how you’ve been an asset to the company!
Team
This is a snapshot of where you are in your Org chart. It will show your direct manager, and your managers direct manager.
